First Lutheran Church embraces the arts as an opportunity to Share Christ's Love. Children's choirs, praise teams, instrumental groups, adult choir and bell choir all provide music for worship services. Instrumental and vocal soloists share their musical gifts during worship and other events. Artists create visual expressions that bring meaning, richness and texture to our worship experience. Drama and dance also provide ways to glorify God and share the love of Christ with others.

There's room in the choir or band for you! Singers and instrumentalists are welcome to join any of the music ministries at First Lutheran.
The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:15 p.m. All adults, including high school youth, are invited to join. The Sanctuary Choir provides worship leadership and music at least once per month for Sunday worship, and occasionally for special services. We sometimes perform in small groups such as quartets or trios. A love for singing, worship, fellowship and fun is all that is required.
Joyful Praise provides worship leadership and special music about twice per month for Sunday worship and occasionally for special services. Positions include piano, drums, bass, guitar and vocalists. If you have a musical gift in any of these areas, please join us!
The Glory Ringers are an instrumental bell choir providing music for Sunday worship once per month, and during special services throughout the year. They rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m. Adults and high school students are invited to join. A basic ability to read music and count rhythm is helpful.
Vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles provide special music for all services. If you have a musical gift, please share it with us!
Our newest group, Gems (God's Excellent Musicians), is a treble vocal ensemble for girls in grades 6-8. They provide special music for worship throughout the year.
